 | Seattle Draws Blanks Against Schoen Wednesday, April 18th , 1917 The Seattle Warriors met their match today in Oakland hurler George Schoen. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 6-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Seattle skipper Irv Thomas said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 2-0 victory, Schoen whiffed 5 and gave up 2 walks.
