 | Green Selected WCA Player of the Week Monday, April 16th , 1917 It was an extraordinary week for William Green of the Los Angeles Saints. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .545, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the West Coast Association. Last week Green went 12-for-22, racked up no home runs and 5 RBIs and scored 5 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Los Angeles right fielder. On the year, Green has hit .371 with no home runs, 19 RBIs and scored 26 runs. |   |
