At age 42, the native of Zama, Japan has announced he will retire from professional baseball.
"I want to thank all my teammates, the fans, and the Kobe Bulls organization, but this is it for me," he said. "I've got a lovely family at home I can't wait to spend more time with."
In his career, Komatsu has 284 victories and 175 defeats with a 2.88 ERA. | | |
