 | Koyanagi, Fukushima Swap Clubs Tuesday, January 30th , 1962 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Falcons announced today the acquisition of 30-year old LHP Kijuro Fukushima and 22-year old LF Ryota Uehara from the Denki Dynamics in exchange for 22-year old CF Toshifumi Koyanagi. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Falcons, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Fukushima has appeared in 239 games in his career, tossing 921 innings with 541 strikeouts. He has rung up a 36-66 record and a 3.70 ERA and has been credited with 19 saves. |   |
