 | No Late-Season Magic Coming: Kinboshi Out of Playoffs Tuesday, October 1st , 1963 Kinboshi baseball fans are feeling forlorn today, as the Kinboshi Kites have missed out on the playoffs. The team was in the mix late in the season, but ultimately fell short. They were officially eliminated from contention today. Before this season, the Kites had made the playoffs 4 times in a row. In the 14 years they have been a Baseball Association of Nippon franchise, they have made the playoffs 7 times. Kinboshi has won the BAN Championship Series 4 times in their history. |   |
