 | Nagasaki Wins Western League Crown Tuesday, October 1st , 1963 The manager of the Nagasaki Stars said "a lot of hard work, talent and luck" are the reasons for his team's Western League championship. "This club believes in themselves and goes out and gets it done," said Eddie Roseman. "You can't ask for much more than that as a manager." It's the club's 5th division crown and gives them an opportunity to win the franchise's 4th BAN Championship Series.
