The Hosho Reliables were officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Reliables have missed the playoffs 13 times in their 14 years as a Baseball Association of Nippon franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 11th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1952. |   |
