| Hund Puts Screws to Paterson Friday, August 18th , 1916 Reading's Ralph Hund brought his best stuff to Iron Hill Park, shutting down and shutting out the Paterson Industrians, 5-0. He racked up 4 strikeouts, surrendered 4 hits, and issued 2 walks on his way to the victory.
"We barely made him work at all," Paterson manager Bert Hynes said later. "Reading could probably pitch him again tomorrow if they wanted."
