WL Announces Noburu Kagawa Award
Tuesday, October 21st , 1975
In the twilight of his career, Tatsuharu Oto has no intention of going anywhere anytime soon. The 37-year-old Bulls starter hoisted up the Western League Noburu Kagawa Award earlier today, silencing critics who thought it was time for the "old man" to retire.

He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 12. Rei Matsumura of the Fukuoka Falcons finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Akimasa Murakami of the Nagasaki Stars finished third.
