 | New Owner, New Outlook for Vesutan Bees Monday, October 13th , 1975 Everything points to a new day in Vesutan after it was announced that the Vesutan Bees had been acquired by financier and investment magnate Ryuuta Asano. The BAN commissioner said the sale had been approved by the league owners, and the new owner was introduced at a press conference today at Vesutan Stadium. The Vesutan Bees are fresh off a third-place finish this season. They compiled a 69-71 mark in the Western League. Asano boasted to the press corps, "All my life, everything I've touched has turned to gold. I expect the Vesutan Bees to be the best baseball organization in the league and will work tirelessly toward that end." |   |
