 | Fukuoka Eliminated from Playoff Contention Tuesday, September 30th , 1975 Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the Fukuoka Falcons. Club manager Kamlyn Kadota said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Fukuoka last appeared in the postseason in 1955. This is their 20th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 25 times in their 26-year history. |   |
