 | Hirao Wins EL Player of the Week Prize Monday, August 11th , 1975 Kinnojo Hirao had a week for the ages as he romped to the Eastern League Player of the Week Award. The happy-go-lucky 37-year-old still plays ball like a kid, mashing and slashing as he goes. The Denki Dynamics first baseman hit .560 last week as he chalked up 14 hits in 25 at-bats, 5 home runs, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far this year, Hirao is batting .281 with 29 home runs and 81 RBIs. |   |
