Kobe Comes up Empty Against Fujiwara
Tuesday, July 15th , 1975
It was not a good day at the plate for the Kobe Bulls. They came up empty when it mattered against Fukuoka Falcons right-hander Tsuneteru Fujiwara, who scattered 11 hits across 9 innings and held the Bulls scoreless.

"We had 11 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Kobe manager Ikuhiko Murata said later.

Fujiwara chalked up 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 3-0 Falcons win.

In 15 starts this season, Fujiwara has gathered 6 wins while suffering 9 losses. He has pitched 110 innings, allowed 98 hits, struck out 61 and has a 4.09 ERA.
