Reports surfaced earlier today that Ottumwa Owls manager Will Taylor might not hold on to his job much longer. A few hours later, the team confirmed those rumors and announced that Taylor had been dismissed.
"We're not totally shocked," one player said. "You could feel the tension every day at the ballpark. We all knew something had to give, and now it has."
