 | Season Possibly Over for Guy Rauhauser Friday, September 15th , 1916 Guy Rauhauser has to call it a season. The Memphis Blue Stockings starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Atlanta Peaches and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Rauhauser was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as an arthritic elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. This year, Rauhauser has compiled a 11-5 mark with a 2.61 ERA in 27 starts. |   |
