 | Campana Stops Louisville Friday, September 1st , 1916 Jose Campana hurled nothing but zeros at the Louisville Stallions in an impressive outing at Louisville Base Ball Grounds. The Memphis pitcher allowed 7 hits, fanned 4, and walked 1 in blanking Louisville, 1-0. "There were a lot of frustrated guys walking back to the dugout," Louisville manager Al Sanderson said. "Not a fun day." Checking out his stats for the season, Campana has racked up 10 wins and 15 losses in 23 starts, posted a 2.77 ERA, and struck out 85 batters in 204.1 innings. |   |
