 | Daniels Guns Down Millers Sunday, June 16th , 1963 Danny Daniels of the St. Louis Pioneers was cool and collected on the mound, leading his club to a shutout victory over the Minneapolis Millers, 6-0. "He was mixing his pitches real well and keeping his composure on the mound," St. Louis manager Lou Ormsby said later. "When Danny does that, good things happen."
