| Chiefs Suffer 7-4 Road Loss | Red Blanchard, who is tied for 7th in the FA with a 1.32 WHIP, was locked in. The left-hander led the New York Gothams to a 7-4 win against the Chicago Chiefs at Gotham Stadium. Blanchard, now 15-5, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 3, walking 4, and allowing 4 runs. The Chiefs, at 61-67, have lost 4 straight games.
