 | Kleman Tags Millers for 5 Hits Friday, May 3rd , 1963 Boston shortstop Joe Kleman had a day to remember, 5-for-5 against the Minneapolis Millers at Hennepin County Stadium as the Minutemen picked up a win, 7-2. "He was patient up there," Boston skipper Bill Freeman told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Kleman has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Joe Kleman singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
