Kansas City's Hank Williams put the wraps on a fine campaign today by winning the 1962 Continental Association Whitney Award.

The 29-year-old veteran scorched the opposition with a .376 average, picking up 213 hits, 42 doubles, 4 triples, 43 home runs and 128 RBIs, while scoring 128 runs.

He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Dallas Berry of the Cincinnati Cannons finished second in voting, while Ham Flanders of the Montreal Saints finished third.
