Chicago Cougars right-hander Bill Bartlett used his full arsenal to shoot down the San Francisco Sailors, 4-0. All day long, he exhibited fine command of all his pitches, giving up no walks and striking out 4. Bartlett allowed 2 hits in the victory.

"It felt like my catcher and I were on the same page all day, and San Francisco was on a way, way different page," Bartlett said.
