 | New York's Ramsey Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Wednesday, September 12th , 1962 New York Imperials left fielder Turk Ramsey really lit up the Chicago Cougars with a 5-hit barrage at Dyckman Stadium -- a performance that sparked the Imperials to a 7-5 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Turk Ramsey singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Dick Champ in the 5th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th, singled in the 10th and hit a two-run home run off Doc Cook in the 12th.
