| Cavanaugh Now 11-12 Following 2-0 Win | The Milwaukee Arrows used a great performance from Tex Cavanaugh, who is tied for 8th in the CA with a 2.92 ERA, to beat the Montreal Saints, 2-0, at Stade Montreal. Jim Hart collected save number 23. With the victory, the Arrows upped their record to 83-79.
Tex Cavanaugh was masterful. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.
"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Cavanaugh. "Successful pitchers do it."
