| Gothams Keep Reeling Off Wins | In a low-scoring affair between the New York Gothams and the Baltimore Clippers, pitcher Curtis Robinson was the difference between victory and defeat. The New York right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Gothams win. Johnnie Laufenberg closed it out for his 4th save. After today's action, New York sits at 94-65; Baltimore slips to 76-83.
In the bottom of the second inning, first baseman Dutch Eckelberry had a 2-run double for New York. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Gothams on top, 2-0.
