Big Day for Nino in 7-2 Cannons Win
Good production from first baseman Tony Nino helped the Cincinnati Cannons topple the Toronto Wolves, 7-2. Nino went 4-5 with a triple and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 for the Cannons. Cincinnati reliever John Walker was the winner. His record is now 3-3. Dick Miller took the loss. The loss makes Toronto 70-83.

Cincinnati took the lead on Nino's 24th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which came against Dick Miller in the top of the eighth, made the score 3-2, Cincinnati.
