| Minutemen Win at New York, 5-0 | In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
The Boston Minutemen got a strong performance from pitcher Johnny Hall, who stymied the New York offense en route to a win, 5-0, at Gotham Stadium. The win has Boston at 56-94.
Boston shortstop Dale Raz contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the sixth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 83rd hit of the season and put the Minutemen ahead, 3-0.
"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Hall after the game. | |
