| Montreal Defeated by Toronto, 3-2 | The Toronto Wolves did just enough to sneak past the Montreal Saints, 3-2, at Dominion Stadium. Toronto pitcher Stan Terry, in particular, had a standout performance. Today's win puts Toronto at 69-80, while Montreal falls to 73-77.
George Rigby helped out the Toronto cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 4.
"All in all, I thought Stan pitched a fine game for us tonight," said Toronto manager Carl Evans.
