Wolves Rally to Win
Chicago got a terrific game from catcher Dutch Miller. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Toronto, 6-5. Miller went 2-4 with 2 singles and 2 walks. The Wolves move to 76-72 with the win, while the Cougars drop to 86-62.

The Wolves got a clutch hit from left fielder Chick Reed. In the bottom of the 16th, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Wolves.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Reed said.
