| Miller Lifts Cannons to Win | The Cincinnati Cannons got a stellar effort from pitcher Hal Miller, helping Cincinnati score a win over the visiting Kansas City Kings, 5-1. The triumph puts Cincinnati at 77-73 for the season.
Miller, the winner, is now 8-4, after putting the clamps on the Kansas City offense. In 9 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 2 hits, while collecting 4 Ks.
