Dynamos Use Late Rally to Win
Detroit Dynamos starter Pedro Ortiz pitched a strong game against the St. Louis Pioneers at Thompson Field, leading the Dynamos to victory, 4-2. The loss makes St. Louis 72-74.

Don Brown drove in one run for Detroit. In a tie game with one out in the bottom of the eighth, Brown came through with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Dynamos in front, 3-2.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Ortiz.
