Cincinnati Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Getting offensive support from Joe Case, the Cincinnati Cannons topped the Los Angeles Stars, 7-6. Case was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 times for the Cannons. The win puts Cincinnati at 73-71 this season.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Cincinnati pinch hitter Johnny Elliot, facing Abe Kelley, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Cannons the 7-6 win.

"We found a way to get it done," Elliot said.
