| Gothams Drop Minutemen, 3-2 | In a tight tilt between the New York Gothams and the Boston Minutemen, Ray Hooley was the deciding factor. The New York right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. New York occupies second place in the Federal Association East at 67-75.
A key moment came with two out in the top of the sixth. That's when Hooley hit a sinker from Les Snyder for a run-scoring single, putting New York up, 3-1.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Hooley said.
