The New York Imperials beat the Dallas Wranglers, 7-6, in 10 innings at Dyckman Stadium. Turk Ramsey, in particular, was impressive. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. New York reliever Russ Edwards was the winner. His record is now 1-2. Hank Berkowitz took the loss. New York has now won 3 straight, while the Wranglers have lost 4 in a row.

The game came to a sudden end. In the bottom of the tenth, with one out, Ramsey drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It gave New York the 7-6 walk-off win.

"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Ramsey. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
