| Copperheads Top Keystones, 3-2 | Marco Middleton, who is tied for 2nd in the FA in strikeouts with 149, had a strong outing for the Atlanta Copperheads against the Philadelphia Keystones at Broad Street Park II. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Atlanta now sits at 89-52, while Philadelphia falls to 67-76.
Howard Smith hit a 2-run triple off Jorge Arellano in the top of the first, which put the Copperheads in front, 2-0. Smith had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Atlanta manager Don Fox.
