| McDaniel has 4 hits in Chiefs Win | Chicago second baseman Harry McDaniel was a significant contributor in his team's 7-4 triumph over the New York Gothams. He was 4-4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Chiefs. With the win, the Chiefs have a record of 54-78.
McDaniel had a game-changing double in the top of the seventh. On a full count fastball from Joe Nelson, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Chiefs a 2-0 lead. It was the 11th double of the year for McDaniel.
