| Keystones Shut Out Suns, 4-0 | Philadelphia beat Los Angeles on the strength of starting pitcher James Powers's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-0. Philadelphia is now 59-71. Los Angeles is 75-57.
The Keystones got a big at-bat from first baseman Andy Parker. For the game, Parker went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Philadelphia a 3-0 lead.
