| Kansas City Dealt 3-2 Defeat | In a low-scoring contest between the Montreal Saints and the Kansas City Mavericks, Hal Bennett was the X factor. The Montreal right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Joe Robertson? The Montreal center fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Saints on top, 3-2. For the game, Robertson had 1 double and 3 singles in 4 at-bats.
"This losing streak feels like riding on a runaway train," said Kansas City manager Sakan Hashizume.
