| Minutemen Stick Dynamos with 3-1 Loss | The Boston Minutemen locked up a win at Thompson Field, knocking off the Detroit Dynamos, 3-1. On the mound for Boston was right-hander Johnny Baylor. He played a major role in the triumph. The third-place Minutemen go to 69-59.
Willie Stephens, who is the top prospect in the Minutemen organization, chipped in a run-scoring single for Boston in the top of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
