Bulls Rally to Win
Kobe starter Yoshimatsu Yamamura pitched well against the Kinboshi Kites at Matsunoki Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 11 innings. Kobe reliever Shinya Kawakami got the win, raising his record to 4-0. Toyoji Tsuda was tagged with the loss. The win for the Bulls raised their record to 81-53.

The Bulls got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Yasumasa Yamazaki. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Bulls.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Bulls manager Ikuhiko Murata.
