| Bulls Defeated, 1-0 | Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Vesutan Bees and Kobe Bulls.
The Vesutan Bees racked up a win at Vesutan Stadium, bumping off the Kobe Bulls, 1-0. Shuhei Ichikawa, who started for Vesutan, pitched effectively for his team. The winner was Ichikawa. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Arata Komatsu.
With the game tied, 0-0, in the bottom of the fifth, Ichikawa had a key at-bat for Vesutan. With a runner on 3rd, Ichikawa hit a run-scoring single off Arata Komatsu, making the score 1-0, Bees.
"Shuhei gains confidence in the confidence we have in him," said Vesutan manager Jack Fletchings.
The third-place Bees go to 67-66.
