| Bulls Earn 3-2 Win Versus Bees | The Kobe Bulls got a rain-soaked win over the Vesutan Bees.
Starting pitcher Kiyomitsu Wada gave the Kobe Bulls a rock-solid effort. The Osaka, Japan native helped his team defeat the Vesutan Bees, 3-2, at Fukuoka Stadium. The win gives Kobe a season record of 58-52.
Kobe used the timely hitting of Shunsuke Murata to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bulls on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
After the game, Kobe manager Joe Davis applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
