| Falcons Send Nagasaki Home with 3-2 Loss | The Fukuoka Falcons and Nagasaki Stars played an entertaining game for Nagasaki Prefecture Stadium patrons.
Fukuoka right-hander Rei Matsumura helped his team edge Nagasaki by the score of 3-2. Matsumura kept the opposing lineup in check. Fukuoka has 3 straight wins, Nagasaki 3 straight losses.
Warren Adams, who finished 4th in the WL in stolen bases with 35 in 1972, had a direct impact on the outcome. Adams contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the third inning to put Fukuoka up, 3-0.
