| Bees Lose Late to Bulls | Bulls fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.
Despite a great performance by Vesutan first baseman Shougo Iwai, the Kobe Bulls defeated the Bees by the score of 5-4 at Matsunoki Stadium. Iwai slugged 2 home runs. Kobe reliever Shinya Kawakami snagged the win, upping his record to 5-2. Kiyoshi Inouye shouldered the loss.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Bees allowed the Bulls to score the winning run.
"Win or lose, it's not the end of the world," said Kira.
Kobe, at 75-36, holds down first place in the Western League.
