Osaka Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Sailors earned a hard-fought, 4-3 win in 12 innings at Kotei Stadium. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Kobe pitcher Kakuya Izumi. Izumi went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. The Sailors go to 39-69 with the win.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Osaka third baseman Bunmei Matsumura, facing Tenshou Hirata, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Sailors the 4-3 win.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Matsumura said.
