| Bulls Get Past Osaka, 5-4 | The Kobe Bulls turned back the Osaka Sailors, 5-4, at Matsunoki Stadium. Masu Osaki, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. With the win, Kobe raised its record to 48-45.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Osaki hit a sinker from Fumimune Iwamoto for a run-scoring single. The Bulls, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Osaki.
