| Kobe Beats Fukuoka as Oto Throws 6-0 Shutout | Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Fukuoka Falcons as starter Tatsuharu Oto shut them out, 6-0, at Fukuoka Stadium. The Kobe pitcher struck out 4 and walked 1 while allowing 2 hits.
"Oto was good but he wasn't flawless," Fukuoka manager Kamlyn Kadota said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Kobe, but this is on us."
In 21 starts this year, Oto has recorded a 15-5 record and a 2.63 ERA. | |
