| Bulls Win 6-4 Walk-Off | Despite a great performance by Nagasaki first baseman Kodai Takamatsu, the Kobe Bulls defeated the Stars by the score of 6-4 at Matsunoki Stadium. Takamatsu went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win went to Tenshou Hirata in relief, making him now 1-1. Yoshiharu Fujitate took the loss for Nagasaki. The Western League-leading Bulls are 55-41.
Kobe got a knockout punch from Tango Kurokawa. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"We saved our best for last," said Kurokawa.
