| Foresters Even Record with 3-2 Victory | Cleveland Foresters starter Juan Solorzano turned in a sterling performance against the Chicago Cougars, leading his team to a slim, 3-2 win. Cleveland reliever Larry Warren picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Tom Andress absorbed the loss. Charlie Sawyer wrapped it up, recording his 1st save.
Steve Keen had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the eighth for Cleveland. He came through with a 2-run single to put Cleveland in front, 3-2.
Solorzano called the win "good for the psyche of this team."
The Cougars drop to 18-18 and continue their mediocre start to the 1975 season. | |
