| Copperheads Hand Boston 7-4 Loss | Minuteman Stadium was the site for Federal Association action featuring the Boston Minutemen and Atlanta Copperheads.
Jay Page was locked in. The right-hander led the Atlanta Copperheads to a 7-4 win against the Boston Minutemen at Minuteman Stadium. Page, now 1-2, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 10, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs.
Atlanta used the hitting of Jack Blair to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Copperheads on top, 7-2. For the game, Blair had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Not the sexiest win," said Copperheads manager Don Fox, "but I'll take it."
