| Nagasaki Beats Kobe, 5-1 | The Kobe Bulls and Nagasaki Stars left the fans buzzing.
Nagasaki pitcher Yugoro Koyama had a large part in his team beating the Kobe Bulls, 5-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The 4th-place Stars go to 34-38.
Tatsuhiko Ueda was a prime contributor to the Nagasaki win. He was 2-4 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the third with one out, the former first round draft pick hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 2-0, in favor of the Stars.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Nagasaki manager Okura Ichimura.
